Overview

Seacaps Park is home to Lockeport’s signature lighthouse stage and serves as the focal point for concerts, festivals, and community gatherings throughout the year. The facility is unique not only to Lockeport, but possibly to all of Nova Scotia as a turnkey outdoor venue.

Within a few hours, the venue can support an event or concert for up to 1,200 people — complete with performance stage, seating, washrooms, and vendor facilities, all fully barrier-free accessible.

Lockeport Sea Derby A beloved community tradition and fishing event featuring friendly competition, family-friendly contests, and a lively seaside atmosphere. The Sea Derby draws anglers and visitors from across the region for a weekend of fun on the water and at the wharf, with activities suited to all ages.

Lockeport Area Canada Day Celebrations Every July 1, Lockeport celebrates Canada Day, Canada’s national holiday commemorating the anniversary of Confederation on July 1, 1867.
