Step back in time at the Little School Museum, one of Lockeport’s most cherished heritage sites.
The building served as a school from 1845 to about 1880 before becoming a private dwelling. In 1967, the Lockeport Garden Club purchased the school through donations from former students, transforming it into a museum where children and visitors can learn about our community’s past.
Hours: Open during summer months. Special visits for school groups can be arranged in the fall.
Operated by: Lockeport Garden Club with support from the Nova Scotia Museum
